Real Diaper Industry Association Announces its 2011 Annual Conference Theme

LOUISVILLE, KY, September 15, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Cloth diaper manufacturers, retailers, diaper services and diaper info services will gather together on September 26th-28th, for the Real Diaper Industry Association annual meeting and fall conference.

The theme of the 2011 RDIA Annual Conference is "Together We Can."
Throughout the course of this year, the cloth diaper industry has seen this principle in action through various activities, possibly the most noteworthy being The Great Cloth Diaper Change where through a grassroots, together we can attitude, a Guinness World Record was set for the most cloth diaper changes happening simultaneously.

This year's RDIA annual conference has been designed to offer it's attendees both practical and large scale ways to help further the cloth movement through education and marketing. There will also be a large emphasis on networking both during and after hours at the conference. Conference chair, Laura Gately of Blessed Bums Organic Diaper Delivery, feels "networking with cloth diaper business associates provides a strategic opportunity for everyone involved. And who says you can't mix pleasure with business."

RDIA annual meeting attendees can choose from seminars such as: diaper service operations, CPSIA updates, talking business, diaper service accreditation program, customer relations, re-planning your business, social media, cloth diaper incentives and subsidies, branding your business, laundry science, as well as category specific breakout sessions.

The keynote address, presented by the Handmade Toy Alliance will inspire attendees that no obstacle is too big. They will share their inspiring story, including the highs and lows, that they went through to fight for their industry including what they accomplished by working together.

RDIA Product Showcase

This year, the Real Diaper Industry Association is proud to announce their first product showcase. The purpose of the product showcase is to give the RDIA members the opportunity to see diapering and other baby related products up close and personal. The showcase will begin on September 26th, from 6:30-7:30 pm and diaper services and retailers are urged to attend.
