This increased robustness in PriceTrac offers customers two options to adjust their regular data collection. The first is to increase the frequency in the scheduling of their most important products during critical selling seasons. PriceTrac users can now define a customized schedule of data collection and reporting for each competitor, category combination, or set of SKUs. This feature has been developed to allow PriceTrac users to increase the frequency of competitor tracking to accommodate critical adjustments needed in peak seasons.
The second option allows on-demand data collection, providing the most up-to-date pricing and promotional information available. This feature allows PriceTrac users to monitor changes in pricing and promotions on a select set of SKUs within a designated timeframe, providing them with information needed to make adjustments to ensure they maintain their desired market position.
