SCOTTSBURG, IN, December 9, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Rob Spencer, Vice President of Sales and New Business Development for the NorthPak Container Corporation, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in customer relations.

A seasoned professional in his field, Mr. Spencer has served as a vice president of sales and new business development for the NorthPak Container Corporation for 12 years. During that time, he has gained an in-depth understanding of products and customer needs. He travels approximately 60 percent of the year throughout the country and makes sales visits with new and existing customers. He attributes his success to his strong work ethic, as well as his ability to connect with people, especially his great professional support system. He became involved in his profession because his father worked for container companies and Rob was exposed to the industry at a young age.

Mr. Spencer received a Bachelor of Arts in general studies from the Community College of the Air Force in 1989. He is a member of the International Coatings Group; Institute of Packaging Professionals. In years to come, he hopes to continue and excel in his industry and also assist in the company's growth. Outside of work, Mr. Spencer enjoys a spending time with his family and has coached youth sports for well over 20 years. Mr. Spencer states, "It gives me a lot of satisfaction seeing the many young people who I have coached go on to have productive lifes." Additionally Mr. Spencer states that, "I have shared my wisdom and experience with these young people, but I can assure you that they have taught me many lessons as well."
