Chuck Sommers manages the design and construction of Elie Tahari stores worldwide

NEW YORK, NY, May 20, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ --Chuck Sommers, Vice President of Architecture and Store Planning for Elie Tahari, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in architecture.

A licensed architect in the state of New York, Mr. Sommers has over a decade of professional experience and expertise in retail project management and design. He currently serves as the vice president of architecture and store planning for Elie Tahari, a luxury fashion design company. Mr. Sommers assists with the building of stores worldwide and ensures that each store is beautiful and workable for customers and employees. Working with a staff of four people, he designs store interiors, including furniture, flooring and lighting, and manages construction. Along the way, he also develops cost-effective construction strategies and hires general contractors to attend to each job site.

In 1992, Mr. Sommers earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. He attributes his success to his natural ability to please others. In the future, he aspires to become a luxury brand professional and devote himself to designing and marketing luxury fixture products. Mr. Sommers participates in local races for charitable organizations in his free time.
