J. Eric James Named VIP of the Year for Excellence in Book and Magazine Distribution

Eighteen years ago, Mr. James established his career in the retail industry. After acquiring pertinent skills that allowed him to creatively adapt to the changes in his field, he took on a role with Half Price Books, Records, Magazines, Incorporated. The company is the nation's largest of its kind, providing the buying and selling of new and used books and magazines. Currently, he oversees the distribution network department as the vice president of supply chain.

An expert in logistics and personnel management, Mr. James earned an MBA at Amberton University. He already holds a Bachelor of Science in political science and philosophy, which he earned from Purdue University in 1992. With an aspiration to grow professionally in the next five years, Mr. James is proudly affiliated with the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals.
